Data Backup And File History Windows 8.1

[Windows 8.1 Backup]

windows8.1enterprise

The backup feature in Windows 8 is known as File History, its function is to backup the data contained in the disk. Unlike Windows 7, Windows 8 File History can only create backup files in user location data such as libraries and desktop folders. If you want to create a backup folder somewhere else, you should add it to your libraries.

After you create a File History, Windows will keep a copy of your files regularly either to an external drive or network sharing, it's all done automatically. If you use an external drive, File History will start saving a backup copy again when you plug in the external drive that you are using.

Steps to windows 8.1 backup

First plug external drive to pc / laptop
Press windows + s on the control panel and select save backup copies of your file history
win8.1backup
Click turn on to run the backup automatically
backup1
Then click Run now to refresh the data file to be in the backup of the libraries
backup2
Then open the external drive will directly there is a folder History file that stores all the data files in the libraries
backup3
Here are all the folders that contain data that is backed up from our pc / laptop libralies

okay finished, hopefully useful..............
